Wanderlust: A very strong and irresistible impulse or desire to travel the world.
Raise your hand if you’re a wanderluster! (raising hand)
Traveling has been a passion of mine that sparked at a very young age. My mom is from England, so I think it’s the Brit in me that makes me gravitate towards far away destinations.
My first European trip without the family was when I was 18. I went with my best friend, Lindsay, to spend 2 weeks in London and Paris. We were clueless. And I mean clueless. We couldn’t read a map properly and walked in circles half the time. We made mistakes left and right, like watching the movie “Taken” for the first time ON OUR WAY TO PARIS. We had about 6 meals a day and a croissant in our hand, or pocket, at all times. We fell for British boys that we’re still in contact with to this day, and laughed and laughed and laughed.
This trip instilled in me an unshakeable love for travel and adventure and I’ve been on a plane every summer since. Here are a few of my favorites:
Island of Capri
Took in these views every day in Mallorca
Studied abroad for a semester in the beautiful Barcelona
Train ride through the Alps that brought us to Zurich
Fell in love with Sweden…
Every summer. Addicted to London.
Heineken museum in Amsterdam
Island of Ibiza off the coast of Spain.
Palace de Versailles in Paris
Peter Island in the British Virgin Islands
St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands
…and then some of the most incredible cities are right here
in my favorite country of them all. NYC
OK that’s enough pics you get the idea. I love to travel. A lot. Whether it’s a short plane ride to NYC or an 11 hour flight to Italy, the adventure excites me. Traveling has been my best teacher and I’m forever thankful for the memories and friendships I’ve gained along the way. Now lets talk about you. Where have YOU been!? Anywhere from the list above?
Writing this prelude is giving me the travel bug itch, uh oh…
Current status: daydreaming

Having read this I thought it was really enlightening. I appreciate you taking the time and effort to
put this short article together. I once again find myself personally
spending way too much time both reading and leaving comments.
But so what, it was still worth it!
